Welcome to Kirinord
We are a family-run business, based in Rakvere, Estonia. With almost 30 years of industry experience, we develop and manufacture a wide range of knitwear from traditional Nordic folk sweaters to high-end contemporary designer collections. We work with retailers, agents, and independent designers but also with companies looking for interesting business gifts with corporate branding, based mainly in Scandinavia but also in Europe and UK.
Sweaters, cardigans, ponchos, trousers, dresses, tops, vests, coats, and jackets, also different accessories like hats, turbans, headbands, scarves, mittens, socks, wristwarmers,
ankle warmers, even throws and blankets - we can make it all and more.

What makes us special?
Besides sampling and manufacturing, we offer design, technological services, and a wide selection of quality yarns from all over the world. Depending on the need of our customers, we produce with hand-operated or automated knitting machines. We keep our minimum orders flexible to help upcoming designers and creatives develop their first collections and product series for retail.

Our knitting and sewing machines
Hand knitting machines for more precise and
complicated cuts, gauge nr 3 and nr 5.
Industrial knitting machines to get high productivity (coupons and fabric up to 140 cm wide), gauge nr 5 and nr 7.
Additionally, we have linking machines for clean finishing, universal and overlock machines for common operations, chain stitch sewing machines for more stretchy knits to offer better flexibility, etc.
We take care of every detail every step of the way to offer the highest quality and best technological solutions.
Depending on the difficulty and nature of the order our maximum capacity today is around 500 to 1000 sweaters per month.
